1. Postcards
These are the easiest things to collect because you can usually find postcards at any souvenir shop and also probably the cheapest to collect aswell. They will be very easy to pack because they are so lightweight. When you get home, you can put them in a scrapbook or album to remember the trip.
2. Magnets
3. Pins
4. Patches
Like pins, patches can be worn as well whether its on a jacket or hat. They can even be ironed on to quilts or blankets to have so many memories of your trip. They are also very lightweight to pack, so its an added bonus.
5. Christmas Tree Ornaments
This is one I'll be doing on my next trip. Every year wouldn't it be cool to put up your Christmas tree and place all the ornaments from your travels on there. You can usually find these at most places but if not you can always use a key ring or just DIY one.
6. Knick Knacks
Whether its a mini statue of the Eiffel tower from Paris or a mini statue of big ben from London, Knick Knacks are a great souvenir to get to display around your home in bookshelfs or on mantles. You can have your own little collection of different landmarks you have been to.
7. Coffee mugs and Shot glasses
These are cute because they can be used when you get back home. Theres nothing like preparing a drink and remembering a great trip. They come in so many cute styles aswell so there is something for everyone.
8. Jewellery
Strolling through the markets and seeing all the incredible jewellery is so beautiful. Collecting jewellery from different places is cute because you can wear them over and over again and you also have a good story to tell.
9. Snow globes
Snow globes are an adorable thing to collect on your travels if you have room in your suitcase because when you get back home you can display them on your bookshelf or desk and have a beautiful collection.
10. Local Currency
Collecting money from different countries is so fun and sometime you usually have money left over from a trip so you can just put it away as a souvenir.
11. Pressed Pennies
Pressed pennies are adorable and probably one of the cheapest and easiest things to collect because they dont take up too much room in your suitcase. Some of the designs on them are so cute and there are usually machines at all landmarks.
12. Food
I love food so collecting delicacy's from different countries is an awesome thing. Just make sure you are able to bring it back into your own country.
13. Photographs
Everyone takes photos on trips to remember the trip. So when you get home why not print them out and put them in a photo album so you will have a physical copy of your amazing memories. They can even be put in a journal or scrapbook.
14. Art Pieces
Strolling through art galleries is a great way to see some beautiful art. But why not buy pieces of art from different places and create your own little art gallery at home.
15. Tote Bags
Tote bags are so cute and can be reused so you dont have them just collecting dust. There are so many cute designs that you can get from all different places. You can also use them for shopping on your trip aswell. We love a multipurpose item.
16. Ticket stubs/maps
Why not collect something you already get. Whether you are taking the train somewhere or going to an attraction this is one of the easiest thing to collect. You can put them in a shadow box or a journal when you get back home. Also with maps you can draw out your route.
17. Tattoos
This is a unique one but if you love tattoos this would be an amazing way to collect souvenirs by getting a tattoo from each place you go to.
There are so many other souvenirs that you could collect.
What sort of souvenirs do you collect when you go on holiday?
For me I collect pins, postcards, magnets, Knick knacks and jewellery.
